Key technology
The powertrain system cuts electricity consumption by up to 30%. Developed under China–Germany technical cooperation with CE certificate approval, it pairs a range-extend architecture with a removable battery system.
EEC-certified city electric vehicles, crash tested and homologated for European registration — built in LHD and RHD, shipped to Europe, Latin America and South-East Asia.
Most small electric vehicles never reach European roads because they cannot pass whole-vehicle type approval. LOJO is engineered the other way round: certification first, then the vehicle around it.
Whole-vehicle European certification with the paperwork your registration authority actually asks for.
Developed under China–Germany technical cooperation, cutting consumption without cutting performance.
Two drive positions on the same line, so one order covers the UK, Ireland, Cyprus and RHD markets too.
City cars on one homologated L-category platform — two- and four-seat layouts, 100 km/h top speed, and EEC certification across the range.
Powertrain, people, process and materials — the four pillars behind every LOJO vehicle.

Nearly twenty engineers across the EU, China and the United States have won provincial, national and international awards. On 12 July 2022 our chief scientist Kaushik Rajashekara received the Global Energy Prize.
New-material research and development supported by the JiLin University Qingdao Auto Institute EV Centre (Weihai) lets us turn a new body style around on one of the fastest design cycles in the category.
Additive manufacturing lets us prototype and tool parts in days rather than months — and print LOJO EV components, and eventually vehicles, anywhere in the world.
Body, battery and drivetrain are designed together — which is why a single component change does not invalidate the whole type approval, and why a new body style can reuse most of what is already homologated.
Range extends by adding capacity, not by making the vehicle heavier and larger.
Compact e-axle reduces weight, parts count and service complexity in the field.
Swap the rear module instead of ordering a different vehicle.
A dealership partnership in Italy, central-government programmes in Uruguay and Costa Rica, and a component order from Thailand.
Europe
FASSINA, a leading automotive dealership group in Italy, distributes the range — which has been featured by nearly 20 leading media outlets in Europe. In 2025 LOJO established a partnership with SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) in Europe.
Latin America
Since 2022 LOJO has supported the Central Government of Uruguay in advancing and building the national new-energy industry through local electric-vehicle training programmes for senior officials. Costa Rica followed in 2024.
South-East Asia
In 2020 electric motors and controls were ordered by Thailand's central government project, supported by Thai Prime Minister Prayuth.
Roof boxes and racks rated to 72 kg, a 2.3 m camping canopy, trunk safety covers, 12V chargers and a 600 W portable solar panel — all matched to LOJO body styles.
